Château-d’Oex, Switzerland will again be the site of the International Hot Air Balloon Festival from January 23-31, 2010. The Lake Geneva Region Tourist Office writes:
"Round, oval, or fancifully shaped balloons will fly in the sky. The program: aerostat flights, paragliding and delta flying demonstrations, as well as exhibitions at the Espace Balloon Museum. The highlight of the festival will be the 'Night Glow' on Friday, January 20: a music and light show on the theme 'for your eyes only' will present a cocktail of fireworks, paragliders, and giants on stilt. This musical air saraband will be performed by more than thirty hot-air balloons."
