We aren't quite sure why a Miami-based cruise line uses British spellings in its ship names, but no matter: Whether you spell it "Splendour of the Seas" (as Royal Caribbean International does) or "Splendor of the Seas" (as English-speaking Miamians are likely to do), the 2,076-passenger ship is hard to miss when it comes cruising up Venice's Giudecca Canal, as it did yesterday afternoon:
